New Jersey wines will be on full display at this year’s Chester Wine and Food Festival hosted by the Chester Merchants Association on Father’s Day Weekend – Saturday and Sunday, June 14th and 15th. The setting for this delicious event is Downtown Chester’s Perry Street and Chester Village Square. Featuring some of the finest, award winning local labels, 10 participating wineries, all members of the Garden State Wine Growers Association, will be pouring samplings of their wines, while surrounded by live music, artisan crafters, gourmet foods and wine lovers from all around Morris County and beyond. Some of the delicacies and delights awaiting attendees include wine flavored ice creams, Belgium waffles topped with everything from fresh fruits to savory salads, assorted Spanish entrees, crab cakes, pulled pork sliders, gyros, vegetarian cuisine and for those with more of a gamey palate – smoked venison, bison and kangaroo. On Saturday, June 14th, the NJ101.5 “Big Yellow Van” and the Jersey Prize Team will cruise into the Festival with music, prize giveaways, games, contests and lots of fun for all.
