Pat Berg, the owner of Objects of Desire, loves Chester because “it is quaint, cozy, warm and friendly…what else could you ask for? Oh yeah,” laughing, she says “and it is close to home – it’s wonderful to live and work in the community.”
“I always wanted to own my own business. In College I majored in Studio Art and American History and then worked in the legal field for awhile – so both the left and right side of my brain work well and since I have always loved window display, fashion, color – I am in heaven now.”

Pat’s favorite designer though is BORA. This designer sets beautiful stones unusually in silver. Originally from Turkey this artist is now designing in Brooklyn NY…”I just love the way the stones are used in such in unusual ways and combine contemporary and vintage styling” Pat says, but adds “I really love all my lines though – each designer brings something different to the table.”
