Most businesses in Chester NJ are small businesses
and most are family owned and operated.
There has been a lot of creativity in the last few weeks displayed by these small businesses (shops and restaurants alike) to try to keep some $$ coming in the door.
Small business owners in most cases do not have a paycheck, and in some cases are unable to file for unemployment benefits so they are dependent on everyday sales.
Businesses and restaurants have stepped up and are doing curbside deliveries, home deliveries and using the shipping services still available to keep their heads above water.
